The winds wisp and roll around the old sea edge, encrusted with the golden embers of jagged cliff ways. But the winds and wisps are not quite what they seem. Simply air? It could be. But a spirit more likely. Or thousands of spirits stitched together in a pattern to form the winds as we now know them. Old sea spirits that once walked those very paths and brewed tonics with salt water amidst the rough sands. On each inward sweep, the sea brings majesty as it whispers ‘they exist, as does the sun’. Old souls, trapped and spirited away, where eyes cannot see them yet on the coldest of days you can feel them once more. They wisp so frantic as they wrap around your shoulders and tilt your eyes to the skies as you adorn the golden hills. The sea, a vast and endless home to those who once roamed and cast down their vessels to live a simple life of magic in return for their old bones.
