- Toil & Trouble Earrings -

Spilling a bubbling cauldron can only mean one thing - that toil and trouble is not far behind. Sculpted from 925 silver, each cauldron earring measures approximately 1inch in length from the top of the hook to the base of the cauldron feet. As each cauldron is hand sculpted, each pair is an entirely unique brew. The cauldrons are darkened using oxides to enhance the illustrated linework. Designed to match those that always have something brewing in their mind and inspired by a quote from Virginia Woolf - “My head is a hive of words that won’t settle”.

The Cauldron has also been an important tool, belonging to magical beings. Born of earth, air, fire and water; the cauldron has been used timelessly under the light of the moon for resurrection, creation and transformation.

This piece was formed to bestow it’s wearer with these gifts, offering up an eternal visceral power to the divine creative forces that lay deep the abyss of the night.

The Mechlin Cauldron draws inspiration from the 15th century black cauldron that stands monument within the walls of Lacock Abbey, Somerset.
