Upon the Cornish coastline, beneath Tintagel castle lies an echoingly atmospheric cave, believed to be home to Merlin. The history of this cave can be linked back to the book β€˜Historia Regum Britanniae’ circa 1135. Merlin has been recorded as often being estranged from society. Born from mortal woman and sired by an incubus, Merlin inherited his powers of prophecy and shapeshifting from his father. Merlin is often depicted as a mage like figure, dressed in robes with a monacle and/or beard. He was later known to become bewitched by a student, The Lady Of The Lake, who entraped Merlin in a tomb which resulted in his death. Merlin is believed to be buried in the magical forest of Broceliande. Merlin leaves behind a legacy of magic as he was believed to have created the stone circle at stonehenge and also has links to Glastonbury’s  blessed red and white springs.

Merlin measures 50cm in length and is created using organic muslin, tapestry linens and magic. Tapestry linens may vary due to their unique nature.
